Alexis contacted me right after Christmas to set up her senior session. It’s rare that seniors wait until the second semester of their senior year to schedule sessions, but I always enjoy when they do! It challenges me to work in a different climate than the summer and fall months and forces me to get creative in less than ideal surroundings. We set up her session mid-February and had to postpone round 1 due to ice and snow. I can handle snow, but I am definitely not messing around with ice! We ended up getting so much snow that it stuck around for the following weekend when we rescheduled Alexis’s session. And we even got a few flurries that day too! 😉 If you’re considering a winter session, but have doubts about whether or not the pictures will turn out, then you’ve come to the right place. This session turned out better than I planned and Alexis is SO gorgeous in EVERY. SINGLE. PHOTO.
Enjoy!

Beautiful images!
What gorgeous senior portraits! Great variety and pretty girl!
Beautiful winter senior session! Love the snow!
She is a gorgeous young lady. Both her smile and serious face look great in these:) (Not easy to do for most people!) And I just love the gently falling snow in some of these.
Oh she’s so photogenic and I love the way you captured the snow around her in the second photograph. Framable for sure.
