I am thrilled to announce that I am hiring! After much thought and consideration, I have decided to team up with someone who will add value to my life and business. My business has grown significantly over the past few years and I am now at the place where the workload is far beyond my ability as a stay-at-home-mom/business owner.
I have created the position of an Office Assistant: a seasonal part-time position that will help to efficiently service my clients and further grow my business.
A little bit about me…
Emily Dobson Photography is a full service photography studio serving high school seniors for senior portraits as well as brides and grooms on their wedding day. My business is known for its professionalism, communication and organizational skills, high-quality products and an overall amazing photography experience. I am a one-man show based out of Godfrey, IL. I photograph weddings, high school seniors on-location and run all of the behind-scenes business stuff from home. In my home office, I work in a casual and comfortable atmosphere in my yoga pants and sweatshirts with a little drool and spit up as my accessories. Though I may not always look the part, I am working my living tail off!
Information about the position…
This is currently a seasonal position to be completed by December 4, 2015! If you’re looking for some extra Christmas cash, then I’ve got you covered! Applicants must be self-motivated, hard-working and eager to learn. As an Office Assistant, you will initially be fulfilling print orders, packaging and shipping orders, keeping packaging supplies fully stocked, running personal and business errands, managing client folders and learning studio-specific software and tasks. In the spring, the position may evolve to include additional responsibilities.
It is important to note that this position is an office position only, not a shooting position. If you are an aspiring photographer or know how to work a camera, that’s great, but not required for consideration. I may or may not expand this position to include photography training in the future.
I am currently looking for someone to join my team part-time until December.
