Michael and Marcia met through chance at a restaurant they both frequented. Michael is outgoing so when he noticed Marcia, he struck up a conversation that ended with them setting up another date together. They went on several dates before Marcia decided she wasn’t ready for a relationship. It wasn’t until a year later when they reconnected that they really hit it off and decided to spend the rest of their lives together!
Their relationship is centered on their shared love of Christ. In everything they do, they look to what will bring glory to God. With the Lord as their foundation, I know this marriage is destined to bring honor to His name!
Michael and Marcia married at Calvary Baptist Church in Alton, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!
One of the things Michael and Marcia enjoy doing together is playing music. They brought their love of music into some of the smallest details of their wedding including this adorable cake topper! I knew they were passionate about their relationships with Christ, so I decided to incorporate 1 Corinthians 13 into Marcia’s ring shot.
Look at the bottom right hand picture and notice the saxophone cuff link… 🙂
I love that Michael and Marcia opted for a “first look” prior to their ceremony. It was such a sweet moment between the two of them and it gave us a smooth timeline for pictures!
Do these pictures scream 100+ degree temps? I think not…
Love love LOVE these special moments!
