As many of you know, I hired a temporary office assistant in late October 2015. I needed someone who could add value to my business and give me some of my life back. Hiring an office assistant was one of the best decisions I ever made.
It is with great excitement that I am once again hiring. Photoshoot season is officially underway and things here at Emily Dobson Photography are picking up quickly! I am opening back up the position of Office Assistant: a temporary part-time position that will help to efficiently service my clients and further grow my business.
A little bit about me…
I operate a full service photography studio serving high school seniors for senior portraits as well as brides and grooms on their wedding day. My business is known for its professionalism, communication and organizational skills, high-quality products and an overall amazing photography experience. I am a one-man show based out of Godfrey, IL. I photograph weddings, high school seniors on-location and run all of the behind-scenes business stuff from home. In my home office, I work in a casual and comfortable atmosphere in my PJs or my yoga pants and sweatshirts with a snot and boogers as my accessories. Though I may not always look the part, I am working my living tail off!
Information about the position…
This is a temporary position to be completed by December 2, 2016! If you’re looking for a little extra cash, then I’ve got you covered! Applicants must be self-motivated, hard-working and eager to learn. As an Office Assistant, you will initially be fulfilling print orders, packaging and shipping orders, keeping packaging supplies fully stocked, editing, data entry, running personal and business errands, managing client folders and keep the office space clean and organized. As time progresses, the position may evolve to include additional responsibilities.
It is important to note that this position is an office position only, not a shooting position. If you are an aspiring photographer or know how to work a camera, that’s great, but not required for consideration. required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and a non-compete agreement.
I am currently looking for someone to join EDP part-time until December.
