They both ended up at Greenville College in 2009. But they didn’t meet in class or at a freshman orientation. They “met” on Facebook…talking and getting to know each other and their fellow “New Students.” Over the course of their freshman year of college, they dated other people, but spent a lot of time confiding in each other, hanging with each other in the dorms, sharing textbooks and homework sessions and basically becoming the best of friends. However, Kristin eventually moved on from Greenville College and they didn’t keep in touch much…until one summer afternoon when she found herself squirrel hunting with Scott and a friend. Who would’ve thought squirrel hunting could be so ROMANTIC?! 😉
Ten months later…at the Botanical Gardens…near the parsley…and in his FAVORITE pair of cargo shorts (you can enjoy that story HERE) ;), Scott popped the question. Their friendship, which had evolved over the last three years, turned into a love that was worth the rest of their lives. They are marrying this July at the Hidden Lake Winery in Aviston, and I can’t wait to celebrate this awesome couple and their marriage to one another.
