Before we moved over here to Illinois, Calvary Baptist Church threw us a baby shower. We were expecting Caison in May and Calvary’s church family was kind enough to throw us an amazing shower to help prepare us for baby #1. It was during this shower that I first met Laura. Laura was also expecting her first baby due at about the same time we were. However, I quickly learned that her baby had been 20 years in the making. Little Carson arrived 5 short days after Caison and they’ve been attending church together ever since. These two little rascals have been together almost every Sunday and every Wednesday for the past four years. So I consider it a true honor to photograph this family. Not only am I photographing a friend of Caison’s, but also a very special little boy with two godly parents who waited on the Lord to make them a family of three.
